This September Kolya Lukashenka has skipped as many classes as during the previous semester.
Over the first month of the new school year, Kolya was absent within a week. Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s working visit to the United States – in the course of it his younger son was seen at the UN General Assembly – lasted four days. Earlier this month, on September 1-3, Lukashenka Jr had skipped school because he was taking part in a photo shoot with political leaders and attending a military parade in China. Kolya and his father went to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of both the victory of the Chinese people in the war with Japan and the end of the Second World War.

In 2014-15 academic year Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s youngest son missed 14 days of school due to foreign voyages. However, the trip to the United Arab Emirates was scheduled for autumn holidays. There Kolya took the ice as a player of the presidential hockey team and even scored twice, which undoubtedly contributed to the victory over the UAE veteran team with a score of 13: 7.
On February 2-8, 2015 (note that the winter vacations ended on January, 11) Kolya was accompanying his father who went on holiday to Sochi. He scarcely returned to Minsk when he found himself at the Normandy Four talks on the settlement of the crisis in Ukraine. In April 22-24, Kolya was on visit to Georgia; a month later he planted a tree in a park in Pakistan (the official visit lasted from 28 to 30 May).

Kolya Lukashenka started to participate in the official events in April, 2008. As it happened shortly after Alyaksandr Lukashenka had sought advice of Lord Timothy Bell, a well-known spin doctor, one can assume that it is the Briton who recommended the Belarusian leader to soften the image of a dictator in such a way.

Kolya went to school in 2011, and but as far back as September, 8 he switched off from textbooks to participate in the mourning ceremony in memory of victims of the Russian hockey club “Locomotive” which took place in Minsk Arena. The boy was no stranger to such activities: in April, 2011 his father brought him to Minsk subway soon after the terrorist attack.
